About The Position
The Assembly Operator is responsible for assembling parts according to instructions, using fastening hardware and air-powered hand tools. This role also involves inspecting products for quality assurance and utilizing a computer system for inventory and part information entry.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to use quality inspection equipment
- Proficient and basic math and computer skills
Responsibilities
- Follow safety and environmental procedures
- Come to work everyday, on time as scheduled
- Proficient communication skills
- Accurately read and use quality tools to ensure quality parts
- Compare parts to work instructions to ensure they meet standards and specifications to verify product quality
- Use computer to enter part information/inventory in ERP system
- Knowledge of various fixtures and jigs
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and repair and setup to keep equipment running smoothly and reduce downtime
- Examine parts during production process
- Execute scheduling board
- Ability to use motorized walking stacker
