About The Position

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for accurately and efficiently picking, packing, and shipping products, meeting all established productivity and quality goals. This role supports the shipment of products produced or destined for sale to our customer base. The clerk will report quality concerns to their supervisor or team leader and maintain a 5S work environment (cleanliness and organization). A key part of this role involves operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT), pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely, and attending required safety training sessions while wearing appropriate PPE. The employee is expected to proactively solve problems within their work area and understand and complete daily safety checks of PIT.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Ability to do basic to intermediate mathematical operations as part of daily work
• Proficient in verbal and written communication with the ability to read and understand work instructions
• Able to navigate Microsoft Office programs without assistance
• Must be able to obtain PIT license and operate machinery in a safe manner such as: V-Mast Forklift, Power Jack, Joey, Order Picker, Reach Truck, Tugger/Pack Mule
• Passing written test and driving test for PIT
• Valid Driver’s License or proof of a passing, recent vision exam required
