About The Position
Ferguson is seeking a Shipping Clerk for its Aurora, Colorado location. The role supports warehouse shipping and receiving operations by preparing orders for shipment, processing incoming materials, and auditing picked orders. The clerk must follow safety regulations and use required personal protective equipment, including a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- General computer skills for basic data entry.
- Quick and accurate number recognition.
Nice To Haves
- Background in warehouse operations and logistics, particularly shipping.
- Material Handling Equipment Certification.
- WMS/BWO experience.
Responsibilities
- Pull and prepare orders for shipment.
- Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material.
- Audit picked orders.
- Follow all safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment and a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
