About The Position

LabelWorks, a division of Taylor Corporation, is looking for a Shipping Clerk in our North Mankato-MN facility. This role involves performing quality control, checking in orders, aggregating and packaging orders for shipping, and utilizing PC-based systems to prepare shipping documents and labels. The position requires maintaining a clean working environment, adhering to safety requirements, and performing other assigned duties. The company offers a $1,000 new hire incentive and the option for DailyPay, allowing employees to access their earned wages on the first day of employment.

Requirements

Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
Strong attention to detail
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet set deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer knowledge required
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
Frequently required to move inside the facility
Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

Experience in Pick/Packing
Experience with UPS and FedEx software

Responsibilities

Perform quality control review of each order
Check-in orders
Aggregate and package/prepare orders for shipping via parcel and LTL carriers
Utilize PC-based systems to prepare shipping documents and labels
Maintain a clean working environment and maintain equipment needed to ship orders timely
Follow safety requirements for the position
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment
Records shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability
Completes shipping reports
