About The Position
To ensure all outgoing parts are correctly packaged and labeled as required by customer instructions. Ensure all documentation involved with shipping is accurate.
Requirements
- Possess a valid tow motor operator’s license issued by the company
- Basic computer skills using M2M software and the use of hand scanners
- Must be available to work overtime, including weekends as required
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
Responsibilities
- Billing of all outgoing product to the customer
- Following all package instructions as required per customer; to include correct bar code labeling, correct quantity, wrap, and band as necessary
- Verify product for proper tags
- Proper use of wrapper and bander; following instructions to ensure safety
- Coordinate shipping/dock employees work in an efficient manner
- Responsible for keeping brush line stocked with cardboard, skids, crates, and baskets
- Ensure tow motor is in safe working condition, completing check sheet and forwarding documentation to maintenance
- Loading trucks for shipments and accurately recording load lists
- Unload trucks and accurately recording receipt of material/product. Verify trailers are safe before loading or unloading
- Assist production in moving material and emptying scrap tubs
- Ensure material and parts are in proper locations
- Ensure proper documentation for accurate inventory
- All other duties as assigned by management
