Shipping Clerk
About The Position
The Shipping Clerk ensures product is accurately stored in the warehouse, prepares orders for shipment to customer sites, labels and meters packages using various freight systems, and processes orders using the ERP system. The role also includes maintaining a safe and clean warehouse, preparing for the next day's shipping activities, and supporting divisional initiatives and applicable quality, environmental, and regulatory systems. Employees must follow the stated dress code: closed-toe shoes and long XX worn at all times, with XX at waist level and undergarments not visible. Shorts, hats, tank tops, and cutoff shirts are prohibited. Hooded sweatshirts are allowed, but hoods must remain down. Clothing with potentially offensive slogans, pictures, words, or images and sunglasses on the distribution center floor are not allowed.

- Follow the stated dress code and restrictions for the distribution center floor.
Responsibilities
- Ensure product is accurately stored in the warehouse.
- Accurately prepare orders for shipping to customer sites according to process.
- Label and meter packages with various freight systems.
- Process orders using the ERP system.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment within the warehouse.
- Perform daily preparations for the following day's shipping activities.
- Support divisional initiatives identified by management and support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
