Shipping Clerk
About The Position

We're looking for a detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Clerk to keep our shipping department running smoothly and support our Customer Service team. You'll be the person making sure every shipment is documented accurately, every truck is scheduled on time, and every issue gets resolved before it becomes a delay.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Nice To Haves
- Certified forklift driver
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Responsibilities
- Prepare shipping tickets, bills of lading, and related paperwork with accuracy and completeness
- Use the Acme system to scan and track inbound/outbound materials
- Coordinate the daily Acme Truck Schedule and work with trucking companies to avoid delays
- Evaluate shipping notices and orders to determine priorities and shipping methods
- Communicate with customers and vendors regarding pickups and deliveries
- Direct the handling and storage of incoming materials
- Support forklift drivers in keeping daily logs and paperwork accurate
- Store and organize incoming materials
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage and resolve carrier issues
- Load and position shipments to meet specifications
- Inspect material handling equipment and report defects
