About The Position

As a Shipping Clerk at our Gainesville, TX plant, you will be a crucial part of our operations, handling the logistics of shipping and receiving within the warehouse. Your work will directly ensure that our quality products are processed accurately and delivered to our customers on time!

Requirements

Proficiency in word processing, rapid typing, and data entry.
Strong multitasking capabilities and professional communication skills.
Valid certification or experience operating forklifts and high-rise material handling equipment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Oracle or similar ERP/WMS knowledge is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Setting up, preparing, and processing inbound and outbound warehouse shipments.
Packaging items securely, labeling accurately, and generating essential shipping documents such as bills of lading and packing slips.
Coordinating with freight carriers to schedule pickups, select cost-effective shipping methods, and ensure timely delivery.
Verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, updating Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP software, and maintaining accurate records and shipping logs.
Handling international documentation and ensuring strict compliance with all domestic and global shipping regulations.
Working primarily in an office environment, while regularly assisting on the warehouse floor with material handling functions.
Loading and unloading product to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas.
Reading production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
Conveying materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence (size, type, style, color, or product code).
Operating gas or electric powered forklift trucks and Hi-Rise lift equipment to move, stack, load, or unload materials in storage racks.
