Requirements

  • Must be High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate, error-free work
  • Have the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and be adaptive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
  • Possess knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP required
  • Have demonstrated the ability to take initiative and assume responsibility for projects and results
  • Willing to work overtime as needed based on production and project schedules
  • Works well both independently and in a team setting
  • Dedicated and motivated to continuously improve in all areas of responsibility
  • Possess knowledge of basic logistics including import and export moves involving carriers, containers, and steamship lines
  • Demonstrate basic math skills by calculating square feet and area

  • Experience with SharePoint preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage and schedule shipments
  • Process all shipments in SAP for the Warehouse which may also include hazardous materials
  • Print and attach all necessary paperwork to the shipments
  • Schedule carriers
  • Correspond with Customer Service and Logistics Support
  • Assist floor operators with material movements and loading and unloading of carriers
  • Receive in material in SAP and apply proper labels to material (both direct and indirect)
  • Perform inventory count of supplies needed at various plants
  • Support new plant start ups globally
  • Enter Purchase Requisitions in SAP
  • Operate PIT equipment
