About The Position

Nightforce Optics is a leading manufacturer and marketer of premium sport optics products. We are looking for a Shipping Clerk to join our team to ensure our products reach customers accurately, efficiently, and on time. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing shipments, coordinating deliveries, and supporting order inquiries, playing an important part in delivering the quality and service our customers expect. This position performs work under direct supervision, handles basic issues, and possesses a working knowledge of the shipping department's specialty.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills and comfort with computer systems
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write and comprehend written procedures, safety guidelines, etc.
• Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements
• Organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Reliable, dependable, and high personal integrity
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Must be a "US Person" as defined by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

Nice To Haves

• Shipping/Receiving work experience
• Experience with UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, specifically Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, final inspection, packaging, and shipping merchandise
• Customer service duties with tracking and delivery of merchandise
• Print labels and shipping documents
• Check order status
• Entering all relevant information into computer program
• Assisting with inventory counts
• Coordinating with members on any aspects of merchandise pick up or deliveries
• General cleaning and stocking duties in all areas of the department
• Assist with unloading trucks/trailers as necessary
