About The Position

The Shipping Associate ensures proper receipt, placement, and storage of materials throughout the warehouse and shop. The position handles shipping and receiving tasks, prepares outbound orders, loads and unloads trucks, and maintains the shipping and receiving area. The associate also trains in warehouse functions including Shipping, Receiving, and OSP, and communicates to management when daily work cannot be completed during a regular workday.

This is a first-shift position, Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with Friday overtime as needed. Candidates who accept an offer must pass a background check and drug screen and meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of shipping and receiving experience.
• At least 1 year of experience working with hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift certification.
• Pass a background check and drug screen after accepting an offer.
• Meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.

Responsibilities

• Read and record serial numbers from firearms.
• Memorize firearm models and specifications.
• Pack orders according to instructions and verify relevant information for outbound shipments.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Inform management when daily tasks cannot be completed within a regular workday.
• Provide backup for shipping and receiving functions.
• Train in all warehouse areas, including Shipping, Receiving, and OSP.
• Maintain the appearance, cleanliness, and neatness of the shipping and receiving area.
• Operate power equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
