About The Position

Bimbo Bakeries USA is hiring a Shipping Associate to support accurate product shipping and maintain the shipping yard. The role involves loading and unloading trailers, checking product quantities and quality, keeping shipping records, and operating material handling and packaging equipment. The position pays $23.00 per hour and is scheduled from 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., with Tuesdays and Saturdays off. The work environment is warm, and the role requires the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds; stack, unstack, or carry items; and stand or stoop for prolonged periods.
• Comfort working in a warm environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• 1–3 years of shipping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately load and unload trailers.
• Verify route loads and trailer reports, and maintain the shipping yard.
• Count and check products for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain accurate records and report overages and shortages.
• Participate in cycle counts.
• Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Troubleshoot packing equipment, label machines, tapers, and palletizers.
