About The Position

The Shipping Associate will be responsible for ensuring that products are accurately picked, packed, and shipped to customers. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, the ability to meet shipping deadlines, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of order fulfillment and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School degree or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-year experience with shipping and receiving processes and able to provide timely and accurate shipments and receiving.
  • Experience operating forklift equipment and pallet jacks.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 or more years’ experience large distribution inventory environments.
  • Knowledge or experience working with a warehouse management system.

Responsibilities

  • Picking and packing all daily customer orders.
  • Processing and labeling parcel orders with appropriate documentation.
  • Consolidating, labeling and organizing LTL and Stauffer fleet orders in preparation for shipment to the customer.
  • Processing all unique picking including, but not limited to exception picks and value-added customer picks.
  • Processing all parcel Hazmat and International shipping, organizing all documentation and labeling appropriate based on each carriers’ requirements.
  • This position may be assigned to specific areas of the distribution center based on the daily needs; which would include receiving, shipping, inventory management, facility maintenance, customer or inventory inquiries.
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to.
