About The Position

The Shipping Associate is responsible for accurately packing and shipping items in a fast-paced environment. The position works in partnership with eCommerce Fulfillment and reports to Logistics & Operations management. Duties include preparing outgoing goods for carrier pickup and maintaining shipping supplies, inventory records, and a clean, safe work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of shipping experience in a packaging warehouse environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications and basic computer skills.
• Highly detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assume overall responsibility for shipping goods and related functions.
• Assist with intake, preparation, and packing of outgoing items to meet daily FedEx, UPS, and USPS pickup and drop-off deadlines.
• Assemble, prepare, fill, and package boxes and other cartons with items to be shipped.
• Inspect outgoing products.
• Print shipping labels and secure them to boxes.
• Update inventory in the database and promptly report low-inventory items.
• Manage and maintain an Excel spreadsheet.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed.
• Maintain and organize supplies.
• Assess packaging needs for delicate items.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
