About The Position

This role is responsible for assisting in the preparation and packing of products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer specifications. The associate will also help organize inventory within the shipping area, inspect outgoing shipments, and collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient shipping processes. Adherence to all safety protocols and guidelines is crucial for maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The position requires demonstrating MITER Brands Guiding Principles in all business interactions.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software programs.
• Great interpersonal skills are essential to operate in and maintain a team environment.
• Great communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-1 year of previous experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
• May be required to frequently lift to 50 lbs.
• Hand dexterity and strength.
• Prolonged sitting and terminal use.
• Requires adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
• Candidates must provide truthful and complete information regarding their eligibility to work in the U.S. and any current or future need for employment sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and packing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with customer specifications.
• Provide aid in transporting customer products by utilizing correct lifting methods to prevent injuries.
• Help to organize inventory within the shipping area, ensuring proper stock levels.
• Inspect outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure efficient shipping processes.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Demonstrate MITER Brands Guiding Principles in all business interactions.
• Other duties may be assigned.
