Production Assembler- 2nd Shift- 3pm-11:30pm
About The Position
MITER Brands is seeking a Production Assembler for their 2nd shift, working Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. This role involves assembling panel components using various hand and power tools, following established processes to meet daily operational tasks and defined standards. The assembler will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of assembly work, conducting quality inspections, and identifying/addressing defects. Collaboration with team members to achieve production goals and process improvement is key. Adherence to all safety protocols and guidelines is mandatory, along with demonstrating MITER Brands Guiding Principles in all business interactions. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret production specifications and drawings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software programs.
- Great interpersonal skills are essential to operate in and maintain a team environment.
- Great communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of previous experience in manufacturing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assemble panel components using hand tools and power tools, such as drills, impact drivers, and grinders to assist in the assembly process.
- Follow established processes to complete daily operational tasks within defined standards.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly work, including materials used and any issues encountered.
- Conduct thorough inspections of assembled panels to ensure they meet quality and safety standards, while identifying and addressing any defects.
- Work closely with other team members to achieve production goals and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Demonstrate MITER Brands Guiding Principles in all business interactions.
