About The Position
This role utilizes current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in conjunction with approved departmental SOPs to produce high quality products. The Packer will perform various packaging tasks to establish standards of productivity and quality, clean the work area as needed, and notify the supervisor and/or lead person before leaving the workstation. Any other tasks/duties as assigned by management may also be part of this role.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Accurately read, write and count.
- Capable of manual dexterity to perform to standard.
- Ability to read fine print.
- Able to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Specific vision requirements include 20/40 near vision (can be corrected with eyeglasses or contacts) and color vision.
- Ability to lift 10 pounds repeatedly (5-6 hours).
- Ability to lift 11-25 pounds occasionally (1-2 hours).
