About The Position

The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and running new CNC machines. The preferred candidate will have 5+ years of experience operating and setting up CNC machines, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Ability to analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to understand part requirements.
  • Translating blueprints into G-code or other programming languages for the machine.
  • Ability to operate and maintain various CNC machines.
  • Excellent math skills.
  • Attention to detail and precision.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

  • 5+ years' operating and setting up CNC machines

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and operating CNC lathes, mills, and other machining tools.
  • Loading raw materials, tools, and programs into the machine.
  • Inspecting parts for accuracy and defects.
  • Using measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
  • Monitoring machine operation and making adjustments as needed.
  • Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting machine issues.
  • Following safety procedures and guidelines for operating machinery.
