About The Position

Folder Works, a division of Taylor Corporation, is hiring a Production Shipping Associate in North Mankato, Minnesota. The associate prepares, packages, and processes outgoing orders accurately and on time, working with production, inventory, and customer service teams to verify order accuracy, maintain shipping documentation, and uphold quality standards. The position may require floating across departments and assisting where needed. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. The role is on second shift, Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with additional Saturday hours as needed to meet production demands and customer deadlines. The anticipated hourly pay range is $16–$18, with the actual offer depending on factors including qualifications, experience, skills, education, credentials, and location. Requirements

Ability to read, interpret, and understand general written instructions, including work orders, parts orders, safety regulations, operating procedures, and other job-specific documents.
Ability to speak and communicate effectively with fellow employees.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to use common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram-based instructions.
Ability to remain detail-oriented and organized while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment and consistently maintaining safety and quality standards.
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others can understand.
Regularly remain in a stationary position; constantly operate machinery and handle products, including printed materials; frequently move within the facility; and regularly lift, push, pull, or carry up to 40+ pounds.

Responsibilities

Apply labels to products; cut and wrap products; use tape dispensers and foot controls.
Prepare, package, and process outgoing orders accurately.
Communicate effectively with shipping carriers.
Ship and stack orders on shipping skids.
Pack products in boxes, tape boxes shut appropriately for shipping, and inspect products for quality defects.
Stack, pack, and transport printed materials at various stages of completion on pallets as they accumulate on equipment delivery tables.
Read and follow job-specific instructions to produce orders according to specifications.
Maintain attendance according to facility guidelines and work constructively with coworkers, supervisors, and vendors.
Float across departments and assist where needed.
Follow safety rules, procedures, and standards.
