About The Position

The Step2 Company is the largest American manufacturer of preschool and toddler toys and one of the world’s largest rotational molders of plastics. It’s our mission to be the leading innovator of children’s products that build imaginations and enrich the family’s celebration of childhood. We are looking to add a Shipping Associate located at 10010 Aurora Hudson Rd, Streetsboro OH. Shipping Associates verify and maintain the organization of products and or materials in the warehouse. Keep all aisle ways, fire extinguishers, exits, and loading docks clear and free of any debris. Verifies and keeps records on outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipments.

Requirements

Must be willing to work most holidays and occasional overtime as required.
Ability to drive lift truck and clamp truck
Use scanner
Use pallet jack
Be able to read and understand instructions and work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

Convey materials to designated areas using lift truck or pallet jack.
Attach labels to cartons.
Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
Compare identifying information and counts, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information again bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, racks, and shelves by hand.
Inserts items into containers.
Keep all dock trash bins empty.
Keep all aisle ways, fire extinguishers, exits and loading docks clear and free of any debris.
