Machine Operator 2nd Shift (2pm-10pm)
About The Position
The Machine Operator position is a full-time role on the 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) in Loveland, CO. This role is responsible for setting up and operating machines according to production specifications, monitoring and adjusting machine settings, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring product quality and consistency. The operator must adhere to all safety, conduct, and attendance rules, follow work schedules to meet production goals, and accurately enter information into production systems. The role also involves inspecting materials and equipment for defects and ensuring the work area complies with safety and sanitation regulations.
Requirements
- High school graduate with minimum of 1 yr direct industrial experience is preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to efficiently multi-task.
- Must be a team-player.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Required to talk, hear, stand and walk.
- Required to stand on your feet to work for several hours at a time.
- Required to correctly & safely lift, move, sort, place & carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Required to use hands and fingers, to handle or feel, grasp, reach, lift, push and pull.
- Occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machines according to production specifications.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues with the machinery.
- Follow all safety, conduct and attendance rules.
- Follow assigned work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
- Accurately enter information into production systems.
- Inspect materials, products, and/or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
- Monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operations conform to production or processing standards.
- Consistently follow specifications, job orders, and company policies and procedures.
- Ensure your work area is in compliance with safety and sanitation regulations.
