Shipping Associate Tray Wash
About The Position
The Shipping Associate Tray Wash fills orders, counts, loads, and unloads product on incoming trailers according to the shipping schedule. The position requires competency in on-the-job activities that may directly or indirectly affect product safety, legality, or quality. It is physically demanding: employees must use a hand truck to move stacked products weighing up to 400 pounds over distances of up to 300 feet throughout the day, including up and down 30-degree slopes. The role also requires stooping, bending, and lifting 20-pound product containers from floor level to a height of 7.5 feet. The position maintains accurate records of product received from the plant or other plants, moves product to the appropriate distribution area to meet shipping schedules, and keeps the work area clean. Employees must comply with company policies and procedures and fulfill work schedules and attendance requirements. Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor or management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated ability to read, comprehend, and record information applicable to the job.
- Ability to use a hand truck to move stacked products weighing up to 400 pounds over distances of up to 300 feet, including up and down 30-degree slopes.
- Ability to stoop, bend, and lift 20-pound product containers from floor level to 7.5 feet.
- Demonstrated competency in on-the-job activities that may affect product safety, legality, or quality.

Responsibilities
