About The Position

As a Texas Shipping Associate I, you will work with aircraft safety equipment being responsible for the receiving and shipping of inflatable products such as evacuation slides, rafts, helicopter floats, raft cylinder assemblies in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (EOM) specifications and written procedures. HRD is an FAA repair station that has been providing world-class service for over thirty-five years. HRD is the industry leader dedicated to the overhaul of aircraft survival equipment, aircraft fire extinguishers, and oxygen equipment.

Requirements

• High School education
• Ability to work with aircraft safety equipment
• Familiarity with receiving and shipping inflatable products (evacuation slides, rafts, helicopter floats, raft cylinder assemblies)
• Adherence to Original Equipment Manufacturer (EOM) specifications and written procedures
• Ability to scan purchase orders and enter data into RIR computer system
• Skill in checking and evaluating packages for damages
• Knowledge of safety procedures for safety caps and cartridges
• Ability to affix shipping labels and tags
• Experience tagging and storing ATA containers
• Commitment to following all safety procedures
• Ability to maintain clean and orderly work areas

Responsibilities

• Receiving articles delivered to the receiving dock.
• Scanning the purchase order and entering confirmed data into RIR computer system for tracking.
• Check and evaluate packages for damages.
• Ensure safety caps and cartridges are shunned for safety before releasing from the receiving dock.
• Affix shipping labels on packed cartons or tags for identifying shipping information on cartons.
• Tag and store ATA containers.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Keep areas clean and orderly.
