Shipping Associate
About The Position
This Shipping Associate will be responsible for ensuring proper receipt and placement/storage of materials throughout the warehouse and shop. The role involves reading and recording serial numbers from firearms, memorizing models and specifications, packing orders accurately, loading and unloading trucks, and providing backup for all shipping/receiving functions. The associate will also undergo training in all warehouse areas and maintain the cleanliness of the shipping/receiving area. Operation of power equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks is also a key responsibility.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of shipping/receiving experience
- At least 1 year of experience working with hand and power tools
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift Certified
- Candidates that accept an offer of employment will be required to pass a background and drug screen.
- Candidates must also meet ATF requirements for firearm possession.

Responsibilities
- Read and record serial numbers from firearms
- Memorize all models and specifications
- Pack orders following proper instructions and verify all relevant information of outbound shipments
- Load and unload trucks
- Provide communication to management when daily tasks cannot be accomplished in a regular workday
- Provide back-up for all shipping/receiving function
- Undergo training in all areas of the warehouse (Shipping, Receiving, and OSP)
- Maintain overall appearance, cleanliness, neatness, etc. in shipping/receiving area
- Operate power equipment in a safe and efficient way (forklift & pallet jack)
