About The Position

Ben Bridge Jeweler is seeking a Shipping Assistant to join its Distribution Department. The role receives incoming packages, processes outgoing shipments, and drives a company vehicle to multiple locations for deliveries and pickups. This is a fast-paced position that interacts daily with stores, vendors, executives, and the distribution and facilities teams. The position is onsite Monday through Friday.

Requirements

Valid Washington State driver's license and excellent driving record.
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to maintain composure and flexibility under pressure.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Positive attitude and customer service approach.
Ability to prioritize shipments.
Excellent organizational skills.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Perform shipping duties, including scanning, packing, and ensuring accurate documentation for outbound shipments.
Drive the company vehicle to multiple store locations and the post office for pickups and drop-offs.
Unpack, document, and accurately sort inbound packages.
Research issues related to receiving.
Work closely with a team that adheres to strict deadlines.
Assist the facilities team when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
