About The Position

The Shipping & Receiving Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily shipping and receiving activities. This role involves accurately receiving, organizing, and preparing materials for production, as well as packaging and securing finished products for shipment. The Team Lead will also assist with team scheduling, training, and ensuring a safe work environment. Skill-based pay increases are available, offering growth opportunities.

Requirements

Experience in shipping and receiving
Ability to maintain accurate records
Skills in preparing, packaging, and securing products for shipment
Experience with material-handling equipment
Ability to assist with scheduling, training, and corrective actions

Responsibilities

Receive, identify, label, and organize materials and supplies accurately
Locate, verify, and prepare materials for production orders
Deliver materials to designated work centers and assist with opening and staging supplies
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory locations, and shipped units
Process returned and credit materials while ensuring proper restocking procedures
Prepare, package, and secure finished products for outgoing shipments
Assist with scheduling PTO, training team members, and handling corrective action matters
Serve as a key point of contact for daily shipping and receiving activities
Inspect material-handling equipment and coordinate repairs as needed
Support overall team success by assisting with additional duties as assigned
