About The Position

Temp Now hiring a Shipping & Receiving Supervisor for a distribution company in Streetsboro for 1 st shift, 7am – 3:30pm. Monday – Friday. Weekly pay starting at $17.00 per hour, but will increase after 90 days. The Shipping & Receiving Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the entire operations of the shipping and receiving/order pulling department. They will assist with pulling orders, packaging orders, loading/unloading trucks, and scanning products into the inventory system.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Shipping & Receiving is required.
• Previous experience using Forklifts is required.
• Previous Supervising experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds regularly.
• Ability to keep up and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer Literate
• Applicants must have their own transportation, complete a background check, and submit a resume.

Responsibilities

• Routinely pick orders using scanning equipment for location and inventory management.
• Package orders using proper shipping materials and labels.
• Load and unload trucks either by hand, pallet jack, or forklift.
• Verify the accuracy of both inbound and outbound bills of lading.
• Train new employees on warehouse operations, safety, and job expectations.
• Complete Performance Reviews of team members and provide coaching as needed for corrections.
• Stage inbound products in proper locations around the facility.
• Willingness to be trained and certified for Forklift use.
