About The Position

The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator is responsible for accurately filling customer orders, managing inventory transactions, operating warehouse machinery safely, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. This role involves reading order forms and warehouse documentation, moving and recording inventory, conducting physical inventories and cycle counts, and ensuring all tasks comply with company policies.

Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Microsoft Office knowledge required.
• Forklift operator experience required.

Nice To Haves

• 3 plus years’ warehouse and shipping and receiving coordinator experience preferred.
• Overhead crane experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill customers’ orders in accordance with specifications on order form.
• Receive and read customer order to identify item(s) to be pulled.
• Responsible for operating the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor.
• Ensure inventory and shipping transactions are completed.
• Read appropriate warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
• Move items to appropriate areas.
• Record amounts of materials or items moved into computer database.
• Conduct physical inventories and cycle counts.
• Maintain inventory records by posting materials received and disbursed, writing shortage lists and distributing them as required.
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
