About The Position

TCH Industries, a leading industrial and metal hose manufacturer and distributor since 1983, is seeking a problem-solving, process-driven, and detail-oriented warehouse professional to execute all shipping and receiving functions for their Cleveland, OH location. This role includes receiving, shipping, inventory management, and bin location organization. TCH Industries has grown through strategic acquisitions and serves diverse industries such as manufacturing, construction, automotive, and aerospace.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Forklift certification required.
  • At least 1 year of experience with receiving and shipping functions.
  • Exposure to using ERP system(s). Understanding of how to execute receiving, shipping, inventory management, and return procedures in an ERP system.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Process-driven and detailed approach to work.
  • Reliable attendance record.
  • Must be available to work on site at our Cleveland, OH location from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm on Monday through Friday.

Nice To Haves

  • Training on TrulinX system will be provided, but prior experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Execute all receiving, shipping, and inventory management functions including returns and discrepancies in the TrulinX ERP system.
  • Unload, inspect, label, and put away all deliveries from vendors. Scan packing lists for reconciliation and address any returns for nonconformance or count discrepancies.
  • Perform final inspection, loading and shipment confirmation of all finished products for all pick tickets regardless of shipping method (parcel, LTL, FTL). Verify all labels and paperwork are "first time right" and optimize freight expenses based on transit time, weight and dimensions.
  • Confirm deliveries and set up outbound shipments with all carrier types.
  • Manage consumable items including skids and corrugated materials, including ordering, compacting, recycling and disposing of waste.
  • Execute stock transfers and pick allocated items for pick tickets as well as work orders to stage production.
  • Complete inventory cycle counts as required.
  • Actively manage bin locations, ensuring accuracy in the warehouse management system.
  • Assist at will call in the onsite retail store when needed.
