About The Position

Onda Corporation is the industry-leading innovator in designing and manufacturing ultrasound measurement technologies, serving predominantly the medical device industry. We are a scientific instrument manufacturer located in Sunnyvale, California, and have a 30-year history of creating solutions to our customers’ technical challenges. Our customer base is global with distributors in Europe and Asia. We are searching for a full-time Material Handler / Shipping and Receiving Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations and timely delivery of products to our customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and good driving record.
  • 2+ year of experience in shipping, receiving, or material handling preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic technical drawings and related inspection equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP or inventory systems experience preferred).
  • Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
  • Willingness to cross-train and flexibility to take on additional responsibilities in a small company environment.
  • Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by updating records and performing cycle counts.
  • Accurately pick and prepare materials kits for manufacturing.
  • Pack and prepare outgoing shipments of finished products.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness in the warehouse and shipping/receiving areas.
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding inventory discrepancies or shipping issues.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
  • Cross-train to support other departments and take on additional responsibilities, including assisting in manufacturing when required.
