About The Position

The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator manages materials within the shop and handles shipping and receiving. The role tracks and receives vendor shipments and customer returns, prepares, packages, and processes shipments to customers, and loads and unloads vehicles as needed. It also distributes materials to the shop floor according to job requirements.

Requirements

At least 2 years of shipping and/or receiving experience.

Responsibilities

Print or pull required customer instruction sheets from inventory.
Ensure inventory is used according to manufacturing date using FIFO.
Maintain the IPC code structure on part labels used in packaging and distribution.
Issue materials other than raw materials to jobs and move them to the appropriate manufacturing area.
Review and process approved orders in the Company's ERP.
Verify that ship points are valid based on the information supplied with each order.
Keep the work area organized and clean.
Follow all safety procedures and policies.
Work with the V.P. of Production to improve and maintain safety systems and procedures.
Troubleshoot and assist with equipment repairs as requested.
Maintain high quality in all handled parts.
Work with Quality Auditors, the Quality Manager, and others to ensure quality parts are produced.
Meet all Key Performance Indicators.
Track and receive incoming vendor shipments and customer returns; prepare, package, and process customer shipments; and load and unload vehicles as required.
