About The Position

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk works behind the scenes with store employees and outside vendors to ensure high-quality products are accurately delivered to the store. The role supports the store team in getting products onto shelves for customers. It includes coordinating team activities, handling deliveries and supplies, maintaining records, and keeping the receiving area safe and orderly. Shifts may start as early as 4 a.m. Availability is required for mornings and afternoons, including weekends. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

Customer service or receiving experience in a food service, grocery, or retail setting.
Basic computer skills.
Must be 18 years or older.
Availability for morning and afternoon shifts, including weekends; shifts may start as early as 4 a.m.

Experience ordering products and handling inventory.

Responsibilities

Assist in coordinating team members’ activities, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring work is completed efficiently so the department runs smoothly.
Order supplies, unload deliveries, break down pallets, and stock supplies neatly and efficiently.
Help departments track and process vendor credits and maintain records of billing, transfers, inventory, and damages.
Maintain the overall appearance of the receiving area so vendors can make deliveries safely and efficiently.
