About The Position

Quality Distribution, LLC., a leading Third-Party Warehouse and Distribution Company based in Utah, is currently seeking a full-time Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our warehouse operations team. We are conveniently located just 2 miles West of the Salt Lake International Airport. Requirements

Bilingual (English and Spanish)
1-2 years of experience in the transportation/warehousing industry
Proficiency with MS Excel and Outlook
Highly organized with great attention to detail
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to adapt to and manage change effectively.
Ability to handle challenging or conflict situations with tact and professionalism.

Responsibilities

Attending the receiving window and assisting drivers during check-in.
Receive goods, verify counts of items unloaded from trucks and trailers, input load information into the computer, and initiate paperwork process.
Maintain a database of shipment data to ensure accurate updates of customer orders and provide necessary billing documents to account managers or other departments as required.
Notify the appropriate department of discrepancies or mis-shipments.
Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely loading or unloading of drivers.
Work with the warehouse manager and assistant manager to maintain smooth warehouse operations.
Perform other responsibilities as needed.
