About The Position
Experienced shipping professional responsible for executing and overseeing outbound shipments with high accuracy, ensuring compliance, on-time delivery, and efficient coordination with internal teams and carriers.
Requirements
- 3 or more years of shipping/outbound logistics experience
- Strong knowledge of shipping processes and documentation
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP preferred)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Execute outbound shipping: pick verification, packing, labeling, shipment confirmation
- Ensure compliance with customer, carrier, and regulatory requirements (domestic/international)
- Verify documentation: BOL, packing lists, invoices, export documents
- Process shipments in ERP/WMS (SAP preferred) accurately and timely
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Planning, and carriers to resolve issues
- Schedule pickups and manage parcel, LTL, and freight shipments
- Monitor priorities to meet daily deadlines and SLAs
- Investigate and resolve mis-shipments and discrepancies
- Train/support junior staff and maintain SOP adherence
