About The Position

This role is for a Shipping and Receiving Associate, reporting to the Client Services Supervisor, Client Services Manager, or equivalent leadership. The position requires 3 years of experience working in a mail facility or similar background. A valid driver's license is necessary, and candidates must be at least 25 years of age to meet fleet insurance requirements. Strong computer skills are essential, including proficiency with scheduling or calendar software, logistics tracking software (experience with BearTracks is a plus), database software, Numbers or Excel, and Pages or Word. The role also demands excellent customer service skills, effective organizational, communication, interpersonal, and time management skills. Material handling skills are required, including the ability to use motorized and manual equipment such as forklifts (where needed), pallet jacks, and hand trucks. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull to move equipment, bend/stoop/squat/kneel, and reach above shoulders. Experience in a warehouse or loading dock environment, with exposure to varied weather conditions, is expected. The associate must be cross-trained to support all site tasks, including routes, receiving, mail services, shipping, floaters, freight coordination & logistics, loading dock operations, and customer service/help desk. Troubleshooting experience with tracking software, secure lockers, and other SRM team tools & technology is necessary. Flexibility to support business needs is crucial. In some field offices, Supervisors will collaborate with cross-functional partners to support waste, secure waste, and eWaste programs. Superior communication skills are needed to summarize and share relevant information clearly and understandably across all levels. The role requires acting with a sense of urgency and responding quickly to emails, texts, and phone calls to provide a high standard of service.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience working in a mail facility or similar background
  • Valid driver license
  • At least 25 years of age to follow fleet insurance requirements
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with scheduling or calendar software, logistics tracking software (experience with BearTracks is a plus), database software, Numbers or Excel, and Pages or Word

  • Material handling skills, including ability to use motorized and manual equipment such as forklifts (in locations where they are needed), pallet jacks, and hand trucks
  • Ability to perform the following types of physical activities: lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull to move equipment, bend/stoop/squat/kneel, and reach above shoulders
  • Background and experience working in a warehouse or loading dock environment, with exposure to varied weather conditions
  • Must be cross-trained to support all tasks required for that site

Responsibilities
