About The Position
To provide accurate, efficient, and timely receiving of all materials in and out of the Company’s facilities to ensure customer satisfaction. This is an entry-level role in our Operations department.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must have the ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to work with other teams and priorities.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience working in a warehouse and/or shipping and receiving environment is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling and controlling shipments to customers or distributors.
- Ensuring adequate and timely transport of all shipments.
- Works closely with the Shipping/Receiving team and the Logistics Manager to receive daily instructions on shipment and packaging priorities.
- Receiving and checking incoming materials.
- Picking and tracking packages and orders.
- Unpack boxes, verify billing and tracking documents, report any short ship orders, sign adequate shipping documents
- Packaging all packages appropriately and to Company specifications.
- Maintain a tidy working area to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with the Company’s Health and Safety Policy and procedures.
- Assist with Inventory counts when required.
- May perform other distribution-related projects and tasks as required.
