About The Position
The Shipper/Receiver role works within the warehouse/factory in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Requirements
- Competent with Microsoft & SAP business systems.
- Prior forklift operation experience a must.
Responsibilities
- Support the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in production.
- Record and check quantity and quality of goods received.
- Inspect, accept, or reject inbound shipments.
- Communicates and coordinates with appropriate buyer for products on returns/repair.
- Properly input received material into computer system (SAP and local drives) and forward proper documentation to administrator.
- Delivery of goods into storage or directly into appropriate work cells.
- Load/unload trucks.
- Accurately receive & verify accuracy of all inbound/outbound, UPS, FedEx, etc., shipments.
- Deliver work to work centers.
- Support all internal operations with timely and prompt service.
- Take direction as needed from management/supervision.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
