About The Position

The Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency in warehouse operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production and order fulfillment, and keeping operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or distribution environments
Familiarity with inventory systems and shipping documentation
Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment
Knowledge of building materials or industrial products
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Ability to lift and move materials as required

Responsibilities

Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition
Verify products against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documents
Process and maintain accurate records of received and shipped goods
Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations
Prepare, pack, and stage outgoing shipments according to order requirements
Maintain proper documentation, including bills of lading and shipping records
Report damaged materials, discrepancies, or shipment issues
Operate material handling equipment safely, including forklifts or pallet jacks
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Collaborate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to support operations
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Perform additional duties as needed
