About The Position

Printpack, a manufacturer of flexible packaging, is hiring a Shipper/Receiver at its Douglas Hill location in Lithia Springs, Georgia. The role reports to the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor and pays $20.66–$30.98 per hour, depending on experience. The schedule is a day shift from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on a rotating 3/2 schedule. The Shipper/Receiver coordinates and plans shipments of finished products and receives raw materials. Duties include preparing shipping and export documentation, using an RF scanner and forklift, clearing the hold line, accurately shipping finished goods, storing raw materials, and loading and unloading trucks. The position may also provide back-up coverage and perform other assigned duties. Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Previous forklift experience.
General knowledge of day-to-day shipping and receiving operations in a warehouse.
Internal candidates must have received a performance review rating of “Performer” or higher.
Internal candidates must have had no disciplinary actions beyond a verbal warning within the past 120 days.
Internal candidates must have been in their current position for at least 120 days.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with Word, Excel, Crystal Reports, OMS, and Prism.

Responsibilities

Prepare Bills of Lading and Master Bills.
Handle export papers, shipper’s export declarations, commercial invoices, advanced shipping notifications, and customer special requests.
Provide back-up coverage as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Clear the hold line and place product within the warehouse.
Use an RF scanner.
Operate a forklift.
Coordinate and plan shipments of finished products and receipt of raw materials.
Accurately ship finished goods.
Unload and store raw materials.
Load and unload trucks.
