Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to safely operate forklift and pallet jack.
• Basic computer skills
• Basic math skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use shipping software programs such as UPS, FedEx, courier software, etc.
• Effective time management skills
• Attention to detail.
• Self-motivated
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record (where applicable).
• Must become certified to operate a forklift (Company provided training).
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Must pass DOT physical (if applicable)

Nice To Haves

• Good communication skills for negotiating shipping rates with multiple freight carriers.

Responsibilities

• Effectively pick, package and ship products to customers and suppliers according to company process and standards.
• Inspect, check-in and stock shelves with incoming parts.
• Compare parts received against packing lists to verify accuracy of shipments received.
• Move heavy items with the help of forklifts, pallet jacks and wheel trucks.
• Assists with inventory cycle counts.
• Negotiate shipping rates with freight companies and couriers.
• Files damaged goods claims when applicable.
• Inspects forklifts daily and schedules maintenance and repairs.
• Pulls, packs, tags and ships parts return.
• Assists with core returns to vendors.
• Pulls orders for parts delivery.
• May fill in for delivery drivers as needed.
• Other duties to meet business requirements.
