About The Position

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Shipper Receiver to join our growing team. This is a 3rd Shift position starting at 11 PM. Depending on assignment, successful candidates may perform various duties related to warehouse operations, including inspecting incoming loads, selecting items for shipping, maintaining facility housekeeping and inventory standards, operating a forklift, and building/reorganizing product in storage.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years manufacturing or warehousing experience, preferably in building materials
• Must be highly motivated and a self-starter
• Prior forklift and order picker experience
• Must be able to do lifting up to 50 lbs

• Knowledge of the millwork industry a definite plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain high quality standards
• Inspect incoming loads
• Select items in the warehouse for shipping
• Maintain facility housekeeping standards
• Use a forklift to load and unload trucks
• Multiple lift type experience required
• Assist in inventory cycle counts as needed
• Consistently adhere to safe work practices
• Building racking for storage of product
• Reorganizing product in bins and racking
