About The Position

Bravida Medical is hiring a Shipping/Receiving Clerk to be accountable for shipping, receiving, and materials management. The Shipping/Receiving Clerk position may be right for you if you observe safety and security protocols, are consistently at work and on time, follow instructions, demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in work performed, and meet productivity standards.

Requirements

High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse procedures, shipping, receiving, and material management
SAP experience
Ability to read and comprehend detailed instructions, correspondence, and memos; ability to write correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions; ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to demonstrate basic Microsoft Windows skills, basic spreadsheet, word processor, and email skills.
Ability to be trained on other software as needed for data entry and report generation.
No certificate or licenses needed unless operating vehicles or equipment such as forklifts requiring a license or certification to operate.
No direct management or supervisory responsibilities required; the ability to guide, demonstrate, and train others is required.

Responsibilities

Ship orders using SAP software, UPS World Ship, Pacejet, or other carrier’s programs.
Receive material, label, and move material to proper storage location when incoming quality inspection is complete.
Maintain warehouse location accuracy.
Order shipping supplies including but not limited to cartons, tape, etc.
Solve logistics issues. Contact suppliers/carriers to expedite late or critical shipments.
Work in a cross functional team environment as a strong team player and demonstrate ability to work with other functional groups to achieve company-wide on-time delivery, quality, and profitability goals. Critical thinking skills are a must.
