About The Position

Beverly, MA Manufacturing - Experienced Shipper Receiver needed. Join our team as a first shift Shipper/Receiver. The successful candidate will ideally have great computer skills, international S/R experience and a positive, "get it done" attitude. We are a 100+ year old, family held, international sales and manufacturing company. Our Shipping and Receiving team in Beverly, MA deals with shipments to and from all around the globe.

Requirements

Preferred minimum of three years’ experience in shipping and receiving for a manufacturer
Experience with ERP systems strongly preferred
Great computer skills
International S/R experience
Positive, "get it done" attitude

Responsibilities

Inspects and packages materials for shipment
Operates all related material handling equipment as authorized, including fork lifts, cranes, hand carts, etc.
Accurately records shipments and receipts into ERP database program.
Receives, inspects, distributes and/or stores all incoming goods and materials.
Generates commercial shipping and receiving documentation.
Picks and ships “ship from stock” materials.
Monitors and informs supervisor of shipping/receiving material requirements (i.e. boxes, etc.)
Helps maintain area by sweeping and cleaning floors regularly
Support Production Departments in times of shorthanded situations
As needed, utilize machining equipment to support manufacturing efforts
Collects and moves completed orders from production to Shipping and Receiving as needed
