Shipper/Loader/Palletizer
About The Position
For over 25 years, Walkenhorst's has made it possible to send packages to inmates incarcerated in correctional facilities. We serve inmates and their families and friends across the nation. This role involves sorting, organizing, and palletizing boxes for individual orders, coordinating with logistics for shipping locations, distributing totes, clearing the line, and collecting small orders from the packing line. The position requires ensuring correct paperwork on pallets, maintaining an organized area, and reporting any spills or accidents immediately. Other duties may be assigned based on business needs.
Requirements
- Be able to palletize up to 6ft
- The ability to lift 20/40/50 pounds regularly
- An understanding of warehouse safety
Responsibilities
- Sort, Organize and Palletize boxes for individual orders
- Coordinate with logistics for shipping locations
- Distributing totes, clearing the line, and collecting small orders from packing line
- Ensure correct paperwork on pallets
- Maintain an organized area
- Report any spills or accidents immediately
- All other duties based on business needs
