About The Position

This is a 3rd shift, full-time hourly position (Monday-Friday, 11:00pm-7:00am) at the Atglen Container facility. The role involves operating lift trucks, ensuring correct product and strapping patterns, monitoring loads, and transporting product within the warehouse and to/from trucks. Responsibilities also include paperwork, trailer sweeping, and daily safety checks of equipment.

Ability to load and receive product efficiently, safely and accurately
Ability to understand and follow general instructions as well as customer-specific requirements
Ability to process paperwork accurately
Possess good communication skills and have the ability to work as part of a team

Responsibilities

Operate lift trucks in a safe and effective manner
Ensure correct product is sent through appropriate production line
Ensure correct strapping patterns for product, and that loads are strapped with proper dunnage according to instructions and customer-specific requests
Monitor loads and notify supervisor regarding any product issues
Monitor take-off line following strapping process, and load material onto designated trucks, requiring accurate record of load tallies
Transporting product to the appropriate areas of the warehouse as needed
Load warehoused product from the warehouse to the loading dock, as well as receive product from incoming trucks, sign for the receipt of it, and transport to designated department
Turn in proper paperwork to the shipping office
Rotate as needed between strapper position, take-off line lift truck and floor driver lift truck operation procedures
Sweep trailers and floor areas
Complete a daily safety check list, change propane tanks, and check the fluids and air filters on their lift truck
