About The Position
Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. From strategy to execution, this team delivers integrated, end-to-end support and advisory services covering valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, government operations modernization, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. Work alongside clients every step of the way, helping them navigate new challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and provide practical solutions at every stage of their journey—before, during, and after any major transformational projects or transactions. As a Project - Senior Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation on the Operations Transformation team, you will: Serve as a strategic advisor and action officer for the) program. This role is responsible for developing, coordinating, and tracking key command priorities related to surface ship wartime readiness and maintenance. The practitioner will assist in translating commander’s intent into executable strategic actions by supporting decision making through analysis, stakeholder coordination, and the preparation of high-quality staff products such as the manual and event-based reports. Help synchronize efforts across internal and external stakeholders, monitor progress against strategic objectives, identify risks and dependencies, and ensure timely execution of priority initiatives that advance exercise expansion, force readiness, operational alignment, and mission effectiveness.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree
- Active Secret security clearance
- 5+ years of experience supporting senior level government, military, or executive leadership.
- Ability to work on site 3-4 days a week in San Diego
- Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team
