About The Position

This role performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. The position involves checking goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining records of goods, and rejecting unsatisfactory items. Responsibilities include packaging and preparing products and merchandise for final shipment, posting weights and shipping charges, and potentially operating a forklift. The role also involves preparing and maintaining records of merchandise shipped, reviewing customer orders, examining, stocking, and distributing merchandise, products, and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers, or manufacturing lines.

Requirements

Ability to perform physical or administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment.
Ability to check goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices.
Ability to maintain records of goods.

Ability to package and prepare products and merchandise for final shipment.

Ability to lift heavy items.
Ability to operate a forklift (may be required).
