About The Position

TekniPlex is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk 1st Shift for our Ridgefield, NJ facility. This position performs and manages warehouse storage and shipping of all goods and finished products that enter and exit the warehouse location. The pay for this position starts at $21.39.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand for majority of 8-hour shift.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to read and write in English.
Strong attention to details.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and legibly complete time cards and work orders.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and read blueprints and technical drawings, such as machine, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groups situations to other employees of the organization.
Ability to effective present information and respond to questions form groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variable in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.

Responsibilities

Responsible for loading trucks and assuring accurate count of product and stages orders.
Loads trucks properly with correct product order/s being
Receives incoming supplies and prepares receivers, checking for proper shipment, shortages, damages or
Expedites supplies to proper departments as required.
Completes paperwork accurately and correctly regarding count, weight, delivery, and form of payment and returns paperwork to the appropriate
Assists in weekly, monthly and year-end (physical and cycle) inventory
Safely operates company vehicles to include forklifts.
Follows and participates in plant safe housekeeping guidelines designed to ensure a safe work
Knowledge of all product quality. Recognizes deformities, incorrect or bad print, incorrect color, incorrect packaging, incorrect count, or anything else not within
Maintains powered lift. Fills with gas and/or recharges battery and checks at each
Completes daily inspection checklist.
Works without close
Knows appropriate people to take problems to (orders, quality, shortages, etc.) in a timely manner.
