About The Position

As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead with craft and heart to make the coffeehouse a warm, welcoming space for the community. You will help create meaningful customer moments and support the preparation of coffee, beverages, and food to company standards. The role includes directing and coordinating other employees’ work and maintaining store operating standards.

Requirements

• At least six months of experience in a position involving constant interaction with customers and fulfillment of customer requests.
• At least six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees.
• Ability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Ability to direct the work of others.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Effective oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of the retail environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to build relationships.
• Ability to meet store operating policies and standards, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer customizations, including changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or substitutions.
• Direct the work of other employees and delegate or coordinate tasks.
• Meet store operating policies and standards for product quality, cash handling, and store safety and security.
• Provide customer service by interacting with customers and fulfilling their requests.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
