About The Position

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader who supports the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads store staff, ensures operations run smoothly, and completes opening and closing procedures. The position is part time, with anticipated hours of 29 per week.

Requirements

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work overtime as needed and respond to urgent store issues.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a retail supervisor.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively with store management and store crews.
• Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
• Communicate information effectively to and from store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service culture by greeting customers, offering help, and thanking them.
• Handle customer relations issues according to company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain customer and patient confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Display and maintain off-shelf merchandise.
• Reset departments according to planograms (POGs).
• Lead store staff and ensure smooth store operations when no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite.
• Complete opening and closing procedures.
